Tiger sawgill (Lentinus tigrinus)

Cousin to the widely cultivated Shiitake, Tiger sawgill (Lentinus tigrinus) is Native to the US and cultivated on hardwood logs outdoors and on hardwood sawdust indoors. Similar to the flavor of the Shiitake but the stems are tough.
